When we first approached the Idea of Explaining Groupe dE Mossì to the Public, with all of its components, we had to consider a number of Paradigms. Our original business plan dated 2006 AD. Our roots continue to produce a tree that is absolutely amazing. Our pages are connected like the branches of this tree. The Story reaches into the Heavens and still produces Celestia

The film simultaneously juxtaposes two stories of re-emergence. One aspect of the story explores the existence of a modern day hidden bloodline in Montreal that goes back 3500 years to the 18th dynasty of ancient Egypt. This aspect concerns itself with an unexplained and spiritual tie to the reign and royal linage of the Egyptian Pharaoh Thothmosis and a continuous Royal bloodline leading to the legendary 12th and 13th century sub Sahara kingdom of a African King referred to as Prester John who was also the descendant of one of the biblical Magi (the legendary 3 wise men who were led to the site of Jesus’ birth) The king was sought after by the Papacy as a Christian ally in Africa during the crusades of middle ages. It was said, in a secret letter addressed to the Pope and translated from Hebrew that the King (Prester John) had 2,000 French Knights that we’re active members of his Army and that he may be in possession of both the mystical Arc of the Covenant and the Holy Grail. The Portuguese thought that Prester John was the leader of the Mossi, an African people of Egyptian descent related to Moses. Simultaneously the stories trace an emerging Montreal record label’s current journey through the development of artists, musical tracks and performances to fuse the root musical history of various Montreal sounds into a collective new genre and to position Montreal as the new renaissance point to manifest a wave composed of uplifting and magical global musical experiences. A mysterious American of African decent, who finds his inner self, initiates both experiences and undergoes his own amazing rebirth, which is embedded in the French legacy of Montreal.
