“I’d like to introduce Akustix born Andrew White (formerly Andrew Ranxx) a reggae-soul storyteller raised between Jamaica’s soulful rhythms and Canada’s vibrant energy. Taught by guitarist Keble White and alongside drummer brother Raffa Dean, Akustix began performing as a DJ in St. Elizabeth, Jamaica, at just 10 years old, blending reggae, jazz, R&B, and conscious lyricism that soon won him recognition. His tribute to Nelson Mandela, Mandela, earned him a Juno Award nomination, while People’s President, a heartfelt farewell to Barack and Michelle Obama, drew international acclaim even receiving acknowledgment from the Obama administration itself.

Now represented by Kamala Wright Agency, he’s forging a bold new chapter. His latest single, I'll Be Your King, highlights his warm vocals and emotional storytelling with profound authenticity. He also has a highly anticipated EP underway, featuring collaborations with legendary artists such as Sly & Robbie, Twiggy, Pam Hall, and Dean Fraser.
