Presenter DOMINIK JĘDRZEJOWSKI talks about the impossible: How NOT to be come a travelholic. From what we've heard through the grape vine, this guy is a "former doctor who quit his job to travel because he got sick of travelling too little". No one here is looking for a cure, least of all Dominik! This is someone with stories on making the most of adventure moments.

For the travel-addicted, HU ROMANIA will be a place to find the adventure-heads. Check out who's speaking so far, including someone who is magically able to warp time and space for some major adventure-maxxing and another who can extend your overlanding life (body and bike). This is not the time to take things for granted. The inspiration launches in just a few weeks.

HU SWITZERLAND 2026 Presenter:
ARMIN THALHOFER began to question the meaning of his life more and more often after his marriage fell apart. In April 2019, he set out on a world trip that was planned to last two years. After travelling across Africa on his own, he spent five months travelling through South America with his son. It was to be the best time of their lives.

"We needed a part. Then we saw this - a field full of motorcycles seized because their riders were busted not having the correct paperwork. So, here they sit, hundreds of motorcycles never to be ridden again.

We walked around and I think we may have found what we needed..."

We told Emilie and Chris they're more than welcome to join us again next year.

We love their enthusiasm, big time! What a brilliant take from a couple of overlanders who have (ahem) no intention of ever riding motorcycles. 😆 We wish Emilie Travels and Chris Johnson (no relation to Grant 😅) safe travels as they continue on the road, taking the long way back to Vancouver and beyond.

Remember: Everyone is welcome at any HU event. Doesn't matter what bike you ride or whether you ride at all. Hope to see these folks again at CanWest (fyi: 8-11 July 2027 😉).

Welcome to the cathedral of big mountains and even bigger skies!

"One of the most beautiful detours off the Carretera Austral --> Paso Roballos & Ruta 41 heading north to Los Antiguos.

Instead of staying on the main route, we took a detour through Paso Roballos and onto the stunning Ruta 41 on the Argentinian side. It's a remote gravel road that hugs the Chile-Argentina border, taking you through absolutely otherworldly landscapes.

The stretch from the border to Los Antiguos is only about 100 km, but it took us a full day and a half. We were stopping every five minutes, completely captivated by the views and trying to capture the beauty of this place.

If you're riding in Patagonia, Ruta 41 is a must. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip so far."
