People - Insight into the lives of people who have overcome challenges, defeated illness, beat the odds, are living their dreams, and sharing their beliefs, talents, skills, and abilities! Places & Things - We not only focus on people, but also on the ty
pes of jobs people do, the machines they use, and places of interest. In a competitive world of imperfect beings striving to achieve their ultimate bliss, many things are taken for granted, overlooked, neglected, and even shunned from receiving the acknowledgment and attention they deserve. I am on a mission to change perceptions in a way that shines light upon the things left in the shadows of our dreams, to highlight the people, places, and things that deserve recognition in the here and now. It can be difficult to pause for a moment to ponder; to wonder and query beyond the surface to see the beautiful similarities shared in our world that would never be learned without seeking understanding that deepens all connections of existence. It is this sort of connection I hope to bring. An understanding between all that is, in this moment, from my view and the perspectives of others who choose to collaborate on such a journey. If this only brings awareness to a person’s thoughts as they read this; that is a start, because great change starts with small steps, and if we even change our thoughts; well then the continuum begins as our thoughts mold our feelings that affect our behaviour, which transforms the way we think and creates new beliefs. Honourable Mention gives a venue to those feeling the need to be heard; to share perspectives, feelings, thoughts, ideas, and more. In a world that can leave us feeling powerless; I encourage all to gather strength, courage, and wisdom from those whose stories are shared to inspire hope and belief that you too are capable of great things if you start with small steps! We all have the power to change to become the person we wish to be, to achieve the goals we set, create the masterpieces our minds develop and live each moment honouring the differences in us all as unique blends of similarities driving our spirits from our very core. I look forward to each page shared that brings deeper connection through all that we can think to honour in one another, in the things we create, and the world in which we live!
