🚫🔥 FULL BURN BAN IN EFFECT – TYENDINAGA TOWNSHIP 🔥🚫

The Tyendinaga Township Fire Department has issued a FULL BURN BAN for all of Tyendinaga Township effective immediately.

This decision has been made due to extremely dry conditions and the ongoing extreme heat wave. The risk of fire is significantly increased, and public safety is our top priority.

This ban is in place to protect our residents and firefighters during this dangerous heat wave.

What this means:
❌ No open-air burning
❌ No campfires
❌ No burning of brush or debris

The Tyendinaga Fire Department will continue monitoring conditions closely and adjust restrictions as needed.

Heading into town today or need to go out in town? We've provided a list of tips to get you through all the crazy in town/coming into town from the east end.

If you come across any officers, fire fighters, paramedics, give them a compliment. Make it known their efforts are appreciated.

If you come across tow truck drivers, give them a nice thanks too! They're the ones who pull you out of ditches during this season, they too risk their lives for us. Thank the plow drivers for their efforts, they're trying too.

Stay safe, stay kind, remember to breathe. It's gonna be stressful for a lot of drivers today.
