Reasons why my sibling and I are still in therapy…

Being raised by an abusive narcissist means your “normal” was never actually normal. It was unpredictable. One minute you’re the favourite, the next you’re the problem. So now your nervous system is as scrambled as scrambled eggs!

You don’t just heal from that and move on. You end up unlearning a whole childhood of walking on eggshells, decoding moods, and trying to earn love that was never consistent in the first place.

So yeah… therapy isn’t because we’re “stuck.” It’s because we’re still learning what safety even feels like when love used to come with conditions and guilt trips.

If you’ve experienced this type of abuse, you’re not alone!

I guess I can finally tell you that ✨WE✨ were raised by an abus!ve mother.

And recently... she died.

For years, my sister and I stayed silent about so much of what happened behind closed doors. But now, we’re ready to talk. TOGETHER!

You’ve already heard about the fake su!cide note she wrote in my name. The foster care. The kidnapping of my baby.

But those stories barely scratch the surface.

There are years of chaos, manipulation, unbelievable lies, and moments that still make us look at each other and say, “What the actual heck?!?”

So we’ve decided to share them. TOGETHER!

We’re calling this series:
“Reasons Why We Go to Therapy.”

We’re sharing them because abuse thrives in silence. And because if you’ve lived through something similar, you deserve to know you’re not alone.

Follow along... because trust me, you haven’t heard the half of it yet.
