Children will humble you.
I worried about everything when we relocated.. schools, accents, weather, making friends, fitting in…
But my kids? They landed and adjusted like it was a software update. 😀😀😄
New country.
New school system.
New environment.
New culture.
And yet, within weeks, they were everywhere..
That’s the power of a child’s mind..
flexible, curious, fearless, and unburdened by “what if.”
As immigrant parents, we carry the weight of comparison, uncertainty, and responsibility.
Our children carry hope.
Watching them adapt so easily taught me something powerful...
Sometimes growth doesn’t come from having all the answers…
It comes from being brave enough to start again.
If you’re planning to relocate or already navigating life in a new country with kids, take heart, they might struggle at first, yes, but they will also surprise you.
Children don’t just adapt.
They rebuild confidence from scratch.
And that gives parents the strength to keep going.

One month.
500 puzzle pieces.
One determined little boy.

Watching my son patiently put this together reminded me that consistency beats talent when talent doesn’t show up. Small efforts, daily progress, big results.

And yes… his dad had to frame it.
Because achievements like this deserve to be celebrated.

I have found myself caught between two siblings,

One a user, the other blind to reality.

One uses the other without remorse, shows little love for the children, and does not want the other to grow.

The other refuses to improve, refuses to see the truth, and continues to accept being used.

Sometimes I wonder which is more painful to witness, the cruelty of the user or the silence of the one who refuses to wake up.
And I often ask myself who is truly to blame for how they became this way...

When God shows you mercy, do not assume your neighbor is lazy.
Do not conclude they are careless or reduce their journey to excuses.

Relocation taught me this deeply.

You may see the smiles, the new environment, the “settled” version, but you did not see the nights of fear. The prayers, calculations, tears and so on. The moments of “God When, God please, God DO IT"....
What you call progress, I call MERCY.
What you call courage, I call GRACE
What you call achievement, I call GOD'S MIGHTY HAND.
The truth is, many people are working hard, praying fervently and dreaming big, but GRACE is distributed differently.
Timing is different.
Paths are different.
So I remain forever grateful, I stay humble and compassionate.

Not everyone’s chapter is the same page I am on, and not everyone’s miracle will look like mine.

If my story teaches anything, let it teach this:
Celebrate your wins without despising others.
Thank God loudly, Judge less and Love more.
Where I stand today is not by strength, it is by GOD'S ENDLESS MERCIES.

There was a time I wasn’t sure I could handle it all.

School.
Motherhood.
Work.
Bills.
Life.

Fear kept asking, “Can you cope?”

Faith answered, “Try.”

I tried. I stayed. I finished strong with a distinction.

Grateful. Proud. Encouraged.

Never let fear write your story.
It’s never too late to rewrite it.

Relocating abroad has always been a dream of mine, one my father planted in my heart years ago.

He used to speak so confidently about my future and the life ahead of me. Sadly, he passed away before I even gained admission into the university, and everything changed.

Still, I chose to hold on to faith and trust God that one day, that dream would become a reality.

Today, I am living it.

Never give up on your dreams. Even if it takes time, stay positive, believe, and keep pushing forward.
