In 2005 Amanda obtained a music producing program and through trial and error she produced her first album titled "Dont.Stop.Play" which was distributed in her hometown via homemade CDs. From there she went on to perform at multiple venues and festivals including the Taste of Saskatchewan, Bridgefest, and she was the first Canadian to ever perform at the Gathering of the Juggalos in 2008 at Cave-in-Rock illinois. Years later she appeared on "Canada's Got Talent" and after 2 successful auditions, she completely choked at the live taping of the television show. The blow to her confidence took a toll, but after some time she started to write music again and released her first digital album "Truish Story" in 2019. In 2021 she came out with her second digital album titled "Trauma Ties, and in 2023 she released her third titled "I Am the Butterfly". Her music from the beginning of her first digital release to the very end of her latest, is a deep look into her personal journey of emotions and life lessons. Her heart-on-her-sleeve style of music is experimental and at times hard to define, as you will hear the sounds of soulful soft rock, pop, acoustic, and even some hip-hop style beats with a free-styled flow. 🥰 There is something so special about camps, conferences, and missions trips etc. as they are often so full of the Holy Spirit that I come home with my heart overflowing. You leave with a post-event GLOW that feels bright and new.. but being back in everyday life, it's easy to slip into old routines, feel spiritually drained, and slowly backslide if I'm not being as intentional as I was when the event schedule tells me to.🫣

🫠 After my most recent trip with the YM team, i was sad to leave them; However - because i left in the middle of the 2 week mission, I chose to continue in the way we were as if i was still there - worshipping at my piano in the morning (all though I am not singing tootsie wootsie lol), praying every moment I thought about them, practicing the same grace and patience as if i was in a brand new place, and intentionally spending time with God each evening instead of wasting time on the couch.

🤯 This has shown me that keeping my cup full doesn't happen by accident - that the GLOW doesn't go away if you tend to it. The same God who meets me on the mountain is just as present in the ordinary moments of everyday life when I choose Him. ✨️

It seems so obvious and so simple but hey 👋🤷‍♀️ that's that!
