Luck didn’t trip pipe at –40, crawl tanks at 3 a.m., or grind through back-to-back hitches and shutdowns. It didn’t pay for your tickets—your hours did. Layoffs, near-misses, certs, busted knuckles, and showing up anyway. That’s what it took to get here.

If you’re in the patch, keep going. The next “lucky break” shows up after the work gets put in.
