Did a thing yesterday, would like to welcome this three year old quarter horse to the family (Black on left). While he doesn’t have a name yet, truly can’t wait to grow with him in this new chapter of my life.

After my team at Solution Services Inc. and I crush this project in Sundre, I'm going to set up a weekend in Banff to finally climb my favourite mountain in the region, Mount Rundle. Getting to the summit of a mountain is my way to unwind and totally clear my mind better than anything else; a true way to focus on everything that's ahead.

When you're at the top of a mountain after a tough climb, it gives you a sense like none other. Over the last while, I have been so busy and haven't had the time to commit to it, but after this current project, it's finally time. So long overdue and needed!

Big shoutout to my company and our team for believing in me and pushing a drive in me like no other. The last bit has been a lot, from taking on multiple digital projects to now project managing our field projects; my company has backed me every step of the way. I'm very excited for all that's ahead for my career; this mountain climb will be a way to re-focus and grow even further.

Always incorporate what helps you grow within your life and career anywhere you can.

This photo gets me every time. The struggles the moms and dads go through when they work away from their children is one of the hardest things to deal with when working shift work. If you’re still out there doing it, to better your children’s life… you got this! You’re doing it for them, never forget that.
