Want to know why my house is a mess during the day?

Let me tell you.

See this bowl of cherry tomatoesā€¦ well this is the 4th bowl Iā€™ve cut.

Between cutting 4 bowls worthy Iā€™ve been trying to clean my kitchen. All Iā€™ve managed to get done is empty the garbage. And that doesnā€™t include replacing the bags or taking them outside. Iā€™m actually staring at the bags I need to bring outside as I type this.

The reason my house is a mess during the day is because you can never ā€˜justā€™ complete a task. Each simple task that should take 5 minutes can easily take over an hour because of all the side quests you had to partake in.

Iā€™m sure I will have so many other little adventures Iā€™ll have to take between now and finishing my kitchen.

Anyways, if this happens to you, donā€™t beat yourself up about not having your place tidy. Youā€™re tending to your children who need you. Thatā€™s most important. Be kind to yourself šŸ¤

Eden has been coming into our room at night and snuggles with us until the morning.

Well, last night Eden had snuggled up with Nathaniel while I was still up editing. So this is what I walked in to find.

Iā€™m not going to lie, Iā€™m upset.

I completed this bonus 4 days ago and you still have not registered it. The views arenā€™t tracking and I have by far surpassed the views needed for this bonus.

I was told by a representative that I had a call scheduled to resolve the issue and then no one called me at my appointment time.

Iā€™ve reached out numerous times to only be ignored. Iā€™ve used the new AI chat to help also and ended up getting no where.

Itā€™s extremely frustrating as someone who literally pays every month to be able to have ā€˜upgradedā€™ access for issues like this to only be ignored.

Being a mom is both the most rewarding and the most challenging thing I've ever done.
Motherhood has taught me so much about myself. My triggers, what truly matters to me, my ability to adapt, and the real meaning of unconditional love.

I'm nowhere near a perfect mom. I'm not even the mom I ultimately want to be yet. And honestly, I'm still becoming the person I want to be, too.

But one thing about me? I don't give up easily.

I will keep growing. I will keep learning from my mistakes. I will always apologize to my children when I'm wrong. And I would do absolutely anything for these little humans.

The smiles, the hugs, the sloppy kisses, the way they run to me when they need comfort, and the way they laugh when I'm being silly. Those moments make every hard day worth it.

These little ladies are shaping me into the woman and mother I hope to be, one day at a time. šŸ¤

Update! Closing shift officially done! Still so many chores that need to be done tonight but at least the house is clean...
