The jeans. The jackets. The sneakers. The hair.

Somehow, even an ordinary Friday night had a look. 😎

Nobody called it “retro.” Nobody was trying to recreate an era.

It was simply what we wore to the mall, to meet friends, to go dancing, or to drive around with nowhere particular to go.

You ordered a big pizza, a pitcher of soda, squeezed everyone into one booth and stayed way longer than you planned.

Nobody photographed the food.

Nobody checked their phone.

You just ate, laughed and figured out where the night was taking you next.

Not graduation. Not prom. Not some huge special occasion.

Just an ordinary school day.

Five minutes with your friends in the hallway. Lunch at the same table. Gym class. After-school practice. Sitting around when nobody was quite ready to go home.

Those were the moments we couldn't wait to get through.

Now they're the ones we'd love to have back.
