Ottawa Jazz Radio Update (July 17, 2026)

1. LOCAL SPONSORS: In the coming weeks, we'll be launching a campaign for local sponsors. Just $30 a month will give a local sponsor daily exposure.

2. WEATHER SPONSORSHIP: The station has updated weather forecasts every 20 minutes, which can be sponsored.

3. ARTIST-HOSTED SHOWS: We're looking for local artists to host their own jazz shows, weekly or once-per-month. Both volunteer and paid positions.

4. ARTIST PROMOS: Local artists can promote their work for free with local artist promos.

THEY'RE CHECKING US OUT: More and more people are checking out Ottawa Jazz Radio. Some are confused, believing we are an over-the-air station on the radio dial. But we're an Internet-only station at the moment. People from all over Ottawa-Gatineau, nearby Kingston and the Ottawa Valley - and Toronto and Montreal have been checking us out. Ottawa Jazz! We may not be as big as Toronto or Montreal, but the jazz scene in Ottawa is just as vibrant, with more and more local venues featuring top notch artists.
