🧡 Today, on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we pause to reflect, listen, and honour the children who never came home, the Survivors of residential schools, their families, and their communities.

It’s a day of remembrance, but also a call to action a reminder that reconciliation is not a single day, but an ongoing journey of truth, understanding, and respect.

At Baico Publishing, we stand in solidarity with Indigenous voices and commit to supporting stories that foster healing, awareness, and change.

Every step forward begins with listening and learning. 🧡

September 14th, 2025 was Conflict Resolution Day in Ottawa. We were honoured to celebrate the launch of Is Everyone at the Table? Real Life Lessons in Problem-Solving!

The event brought together friends, family, community leaders, and supporters for an inspiring afternoon filled with powerful stories, meaningful conversations, and reflections on the importance of dialogue, understanding, and conflict resolution.

It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces, from guest speakers to attendees who share the same commitment to creating spaces where every voice matters.

Join us for the official launch of Is Everyone at the Table? on Sunday, September 14, 2025, from 2:00–4:00 p.m. at the Jim Durrell Centre, Ellwood Hall (1265 Walkley Road, Ottawa).

The afternoon will feature a Conflict Resolution Day Proclamation by Mayor Mark Sutcliffe, presented by Deputy Mayor Steve Desroches, along with special guest speakers including former Mayors Jim Durrell and Jim Watson and Councillor Theresa Kavanagh (Ward 7 Bay).
