Come along with us for a peaceful little cottage getaway in Canada! 🇨🇦🌿
The weekend started with me preparing homemade food for our cottage trip — shrimp skewers, chickpeas sautéed with potatoes, spicy beef curry, and my own twist on Russian salad. After packing everything up, we headed to the cottage late at night.
The next morning brought beautiful lake views, breakfast, a BBQ with my husband, and a lovely visit from our guests who came from back home to spend some time with us. ❤️
And of course… because it's Canada, the rain had to make an appearance! 🌧️😂 We ended up sitting inside with tea and snacks before eventually heading back home.
Sometimes the simplest weekends become the sweetest memories.
A little food, a beautiful lake, family, friends, laughter, tea and rain — Alhamdulillah for all these little blessings from Allah. 🤍

Hummingbirds may be small, but their speed, endurance, and incredible abilities are nothing short of amazing. Nature truly never stops surprising us.

Sometimes, the smallest creations carry the biggest reminders of how beautiful life is.

Don’t be fooled by the illusion of this worldly life.

We chase wealth, success, beauty, and tomorrow as though we are promised endless time. But life can change in a moment.

What we own will remain behind. What truly matters is what we send ahead.

Don’t let this temporary world make you forget the eternal one. Remember we're only a traveler living in this world, we must go back to where we came from!
