Please join me in celebrating the launch of my fourth book. Many of you know that I had a serious accident in 1981 from which I never really recovered. I haven’t had five minutes free of pain since that day, but that pain tripled after I had my knee replaced last June. My new book, Bent but Not Broken: Living Boldly with Chronic Pain, describes what it was like to watch my life collapse and then rebuild what I could after a failed knee surgery and the continuation of so much physical pain from the accident. But this is not a whine fest. I talk about strategies for coping and make a few jokes here and there, coupled with a lot of research, several chapters on grief and loss, and tips for getting through the day. Please buy a copy on Kindle; it’s only $10. I would also be grateful if you could share this on your newsfeed. Many thanks, Sigrid (PS the cover is an avatar of me, looking like I’m on Ozempic!)
