Snow falling like a pause button on life.
Red cheeks, foggy breaths, backpacks bigger than their bodies.

The school run on mornings like this feels slower, quieter — almost sacred.
In the rush to get them there, I forget how fleeting it all is.
One day, there will be no boots by the door, no more sleepy chatter..

So I hold this cold morning close…

Hanging out with our teenage son 🤍
No big plans. No agenda. Just time.

Talking about life, listening to his thoughts, sharing our own stories — the wins, the mistakes, the lessons we learned along the way. These moments remind me that connection doesn’t always happen in loud, obvious ways. Sometimes it’s built quietly, in conversations, laughter, and shared memories.

Teen years move fast. And I’m learning that being present — really present — is one of the greatest gifts we can give our kids.

Grateful for these moments. They’re the ones that stay 💛 ❤️
