Super sick pickup yesterday! This is the original version of the Nickelodeon Blast Pak. It was released in this weird box in 1995 with a set of green foam wielding headphones. The casing was a solid color (like a dark blue, almost black it appears). Over the next couple years, it had changes to the packaging, the headphones, the casing became kind of transparent - and eventually the slime and overall design had a major overhaul. This first version was where it began! My favorite part? It was designed by the GREAT Vint Gonser ( )…just like much (or all) of the super nostalgic, ultra beloved Nickelodeon Blast line. That’s right, the driving force behind MY PET MONSTER! Hopefully he doesn’t mind me sharing that - but I think his contributions to so many things we all love need to be studied…even celebrated! Thanks for the deal .radsvintagetoysandtreasures - it’s certainly more than a tape player to me!

Today the homie, the Visual Assassin himself, woulda hit 56.
Still hard to believe the original P-Toke ain't here to blaze it down with the Kings. He brought that unmistakable flavor, that pure underground energy that only he could. A true Subnoize Soulja and a Kottonmouth legend through and through.
The whole fam misses ya, Pak. We’re stayin' positive, bumpin' those classic cuts, and liftin' one to the sky for ya G-Day.
