It’s a 6! No, it’s an 8! No, it’s a 10-PAGE PAPER! 🦅✈️🗞️

I think we're gonna need a bigger... nest... 🦈😂

Our first-ever 10-page issue has arrived with some very hot tea from the Ministry re: Bylaw #643, a little hockey at the board table, and plenty more tucked between the feathers. 🫖

This week’s Bird’s Eye is swooping in under the wire with four ballot questions, three tax numbers, and one very important SRD meeting tomorrow.
We also have internet so bad your Editor nearly molted from stress trying to upload the dang thing. Apparently the internet saw my 17–23% wiser claim and chose violence. 🛜🤦‍♀️🪶😅🪺✍️

Okay, so a tiger named Hope being released into the wilds of Kazakhstan doesn't technically have anything to do with Quadra... 🐯

But you know what? I think we could all use a little extra hope right now. There are also plenty of actual Quadra happenings tucked inside this week's issue.

Also, this is my last issue in my 30s, so I fully expect next week's paper to be at least 17% wiser. 🪺✍️🎂🥳🦉

FYI from our website hosting flock - At 8:35am EST an emergency power outage struck one of their main centers, as a result all of their sites and services are down at the moment. 🪫🔋

Ever wonder what it would feel like to be living inside a sci-fi story?
Yesterday and today, we got our chance.

This week somehow resulted in a rowboat overflowing with research into local salmon fishing etiquette because of a wonderfully weird new local band, and the knowledge that once you start reading Ray Bradbury, life can become stranger than fiction... 🎣

Just a slight detour from our usual flight path. But look at all the shiny things we found! 🪺✍️
