A couple nice grouse finds for Adda today!

Also did some nice tracking but was a bit too speedy when close to the birds putting up a few. Great lessons for her!

A great day of pheasant hunting for some vom Zamora kids today!

Argon vom Zamora, had his first pheasant hunting experience and did great learning to track them!

“Roo” Anouk, and “Adda” Addams vom Zamora also took a turn each pheasant hunting.

Adda tracked a couple and ended the day with a long track across a field then went on point in shrubbery. No time to get my phone out but pheasant self flushed!

Roo loved every minute of this adventure. She also tracked a few pheasants and went on point on two others!

Video of one of Adda’s pheasant tracks. I had to stop mid way as I got stuck and couldn’t follow her. She ended up in the next field where it then flew.

This weekend we ventured to New Jersey to test in the Solms test with the North American Deutsch Kurzhaar Club.

“Adda” Addams vom Zamora earned a Prize 1 with a perfect score in all the test components.

She also showed in the adult class of the Zuchtschau (breed show) earning a V (Excellent) conformation rating.

It takes a village and I am so grateful for all the support we have had. Congratulations to all who put in the time and effort to test their dogs.

The grounds and food were amazing and made everything feel like a fun gathering and not just a test.

Thank you to all our judges and apprentice judges for your time, positive attitude, and patience.
