Join us at Beats & Bourbon Country Saloon in Springbrook, Alberta, for Blind Guy Comedy Presents Open Mic Comedy Night, featuring the ever-so-talented Kate Be! You brought the energy to Beats & Bourbon on September 5, so we’re doing it again! Open Mic Comedy Night happens twice every month, and we want to pack the house again on Saturday, September 19 at 9 PM.

Closing out the show is Kate Be, who has been performing stand-up comedy in Red Deer for more than four years. Fun fact: the first time Blind Guy Comedy met Kate, she was performing a Cardi B song on ukulele. Will the ukulele make an appearance September 19? Who knows. What we do know is that Kate’s personality, delivery and joke premises have won over plenty of crowds, and we’re excited to have her closing out the night.

Thank you all so much for coming out tonight and making the first-ever Blind Guy Comedy Presents Open Mic Night at Beats & Bourbon Country Saloon in Springbrook, Alberta such a huge success! We had a wonderful turnout. Close friends came out to support us, comedians brought friends and family, and we even had people visiting all the way from Ontario who knew Blind Guy Comedy from TikTok!

We also had a wonderful bride-to-be celebrating her last night as a singleton who unintentionally ended up at our comedy show—and instead of leaving, she and her party stayed and continued celebrating with us. Honestly, it was one of those unexpected things that made the night even better. Management had a great time, the comedians did an incredible job, and I couldn’t be happier with how our first night went.

Blind Guy Comedy officially has a new home to bring stand-up comedy to Springbrook while giving Central Alberta comedians another stage to perform, practice their material, and have some fun. And we’re doing it again!
Saturday, September 19 at 9:00 PM. Thank you to everyone who helped make our first night a success. We’ll see you September 19 for round two!
