An accessory family tree is basically taking the same thought process I use for my main movements and applying it to my accessories.
The movements do not need to be random, and they do not need to change every single week just for the sake of changing.
Each accessory belongs to a family.
Quad builders.
Hamstring builders.
Triceps builders.
Upper back builders.
Core builders.
Raw specific builders.
Equipped specific builders.
Inside each family, the movements all chase the same general goal, but with slight changes in angle, loading, range of motion, bands, chains, stance, grip, or ex*****on.
That lets me keep the accessory in long enough to actually build it, but still gives me enough variation to manage fatigue and attack the lift from slightly different angles.
