Originating from the heart of the Canadian prairies, Ponteix was awarded Francophone Artist of the Year at the 2025 Western Canadian Music Awards. The project distills hypnotic grooves, weaving together psychedelic electronic pop with the melancholic tones of R&B and indie rock.

On stage, Ponteix comes alive as a trio, delivering an electrifying performance rooted in the words and heritage of Mario Lepage, who hails from the village of St. Denis, Saskatchewan. Swepped by the winds of the plains, Lepage ventured to Montreal, where he gave life to Ponteix’s second album, Le canadien errant, released on February 6, 2025.

Prairie Comeau is a nostalgic, slightly anachronistic duo that holds the memory of a
time when music was a verb, something we shared, a giant songbook preciously tucked away in the piano bench. Ask almost any French-Canadian family - this book was called “La Bonne Chanson”.

Prairie Comeau not only aims to rearrange these pieces of their heritage, they explore
how these songs could be experienced today, how the themes have evolved. The result is a timeless folk sound, a new and gentle take on traditional songs.

Sylvie Walker, francophone “prairie folk” musician, has never rushed her way through the world. Instead, she follows her own quiet seasonal rhythm, shaped by long Saskatchewan winters and the slow, steady pulse of the Canadian prairies. In February 2025, she debuted her first EP, Mon doux seigneur, via Homestead Records, a collection of songs that reflects her intentional and intuitive nature - inviting listeners to slow down and look within.

Rayannah is an award-winning Franco-Manitoban artist, producer and beat-maker known for her ethereal vocal looping, genre-defying production style, textural sound design, and multidisciplinary installations. Performing inside a translucent structure alight with vivid live projections by Saskatoon media artist Stephanie Kuse, she brings her immersive new show to Regina for the first time for the Cathedral Village Arts Festival. Innovative on stage and in the studio, she is set to release her electro-instrumental album “Trame” in two volumes throughout 2026.
