Meet Kevin 💙

Kevin may be a big fluffy boy, but he handled his spa day like an absolute gentleman. From the bath to the blow dry, he showed so much patience and tolerance every step of the way 🛁✨.
There were definitely a few moments where Kevin looked at me like he was questioning all of his life choices (especially during the bath 😅), but he never stopped cooperating. Even with all that magnificent floof to wash, dry, and brush, he stayed calm and worked with me the entire time.

And yes, before anyone asks—I talk to the cats all day long. Kevin and I had several important discussions during his appointment. Mostly about how unfair baths are, why dryers should be illegal, and whether treats should be available on demand. Kevin had some strong opinions, and honestly, he made a few good points 😂.
By the end of his appointment, Kevin was looking handsome, soft, and feeling much lighter after saying goodbye to all that loose undercoat. His patience earned him plenty of praise—and maybe a few extra treats too 🐾.

Meet Ducky 💛
I tried my best to convince Ducky to come out of her carrier. Ducky's response? She turned around and showed me her bum. Message received loud and clear 😂.
Once she decided to grace me with her presence, she had plenty to say about absolutely everything. Honestly, I think Ducky and Leona need a playdate. They could spend hours exchanging gossip, comparing spa experiences, and discussing how difficult it is to train humans properly. 🐾😸
Despite her strong opinions, Ducky did amazing and left looking soft, fluffy, and absolutely beautiful ✨.

Meet Pooh 🧡
Pooh had very clear boundaries today: no HV dryer, thank you very much. Luckily, the box dryer, treats, and a generous amount of back scratches won him over, and he left looking and feeling his best 🐾✨.

Breaking news: Leona returned for her second groom and filed approximately 847 formal complaints 😹.
The treats were acceptable. The nail trim was questionable. The dryer was absolutely not approved by management.
I explained several times that I am merely an employee and that all complaints should be directed to her mama.
The funny thing is that she was actually much more relaxed this visit. That's one of the best parts of feline grooming—watching cats become more comfortable and trusting with each appointment.
And then, as soon as her mama arrived, Leona transformed into a runway model and sashayed out of Zen Whiskers like she'd just signed a luxury cat food sponsorship deal ✨🐾.

Today was definitely Brothers' Day at Zen Whiskers 🐾!
Please meet Marble and Mudpie — two handsome brothers who came in for a little spa day and left feeling fresh, fluffy, and fabulous.
Marble impressed me with just how much fur he was willing to part with (seriously, that pile deserved its own postal code), while Mudpie handled everything like a champ. Both boys did amazing from start to finish and were an absolute pleasure to spend time with.
And Marble ,well... you guys already know how I feel about orange cats 🧡 .They always seem to arrive with their own unique operating system, and honestly, I wouldn't have it any other way.

Auggie & Teddy 🐾

These sweet brothers came in together today, and Teddy was feeling pretty anxious about the whole grooming adventure. Thankfully, he had Auggie nearby for moral support.
This is one of the reasons I love grooming bonded cats together when possible. A familiar friend can make a big difference when things feel scary ❤️.
Lots of cuddles, reassurance, and patience for Teddy, while Auggie kept a watchful eye on his little brother the whole time 🐾.
