This is one of my favourite stories because, when you boil it down, it’s about people helping others in need.

The pandemic was hard on everyone, especially those on the front lines. But hearing these different stories about how these pharmacists went out of their way to help their patients was inspiring. I remember one of the pharmacists I interviewed casually mentioned he would deliver milk and bread to elderly clients because he worried they wouldn’t be able to get their groceries.

We live around so much negativity now, that these stories always stand out to me. Because there are good people out there trying to be heroes.

How did we put softball training and a Philly cheese steak burger into one video? Honestly we don’t know - but we love that Angry Wings Toronto is always down for our ideas (no matter how crazy they may seem).

This is more than a new logo. It’s a more refined direction.

Studio Rooh came as a response to a world that moves too fast—
where stories are reduced to trends, and meaning gets lost in the noise.

We wanted to slow things down.
To create work that feels something. That stays with you.

We have a new look, but we’re guided by the same principles - telling stories with authenticity and depth. In other words, with soul.

So stay tuned.

I remember listening to the track and knowing exactly how I wanted to approach it. I wrote a proposal and sent it over - and I remember Rosh saying “this is exactly what I had in mind”.

That’s one of the things I love about working with - his music is so emotive. You can tell he puts his soul into his work. And being able to translate those emotions into visuals was such a cool experience.

Also cool fact - one of my first gigs was working with and seeing how we’ve both come up from that shoot is crazy!

Also shout out to for having one of the coolest studio set ups I’ve seen.

Honestly, over 200 photos of this trip and so many I wanted to post.

It’s hard to summarize this trip because there were so many moments that I know were special but were the “you had to be there” kind. So these photos, in a way, summarize my holiday.

Second premiere in the books!!

It was such a pleasure getting to show both ’s story and ’s story on the big screen. I mentioned this at the premiere, but we could’ve dropped it on the YouTube and called it a day. But watching it together in the same room - you could feel how much more impactful it was. You could really see which moments people found funny, the moments when people were completely into the film.

You can’t replicate that magic.

Special thanks to for all her amazing marketing efforts (also definitely best employee of the year). And thanks to who just jumped in and made sure everything ran. Also, for being my wife.

And don’t worry, we’re already thinking of our next Rooh Hang.

It’s official: we’re live!

studio rooh is a creative production agency that creates scripted content, brand documentaries, advertisements and everything in between!

The word “rooh” comes from Arabic and means ‘soul’, and we strongly believe in having that soulful quality in all of our projects. That’s why we love stories that celebrate the human spirit, elevate social consciousness and encourage a deeper understanding of the world.
