Always a pleasure to have Mad Slug stop by our studios. For this session he had chosen to upgrade to studio M, which allowed his video guy to shoot some cool footage of the session. Also, we did vocal mentoring and gave the chorus a special treatment of sonic sweetness.

Yesterday, David went to our studio M to record a cover version of The Lumineers’ song “Nobody Knows”. His first time in a studio, and he nailed it! 👏🏻 A little over 2 hrs later, after a bit of simple vocal edits, comping and tune/tweak, he had a final version of a new track, symbolizing the beginning of a new studio-artist journey. David’s example represents the essence of what Soul Wave specializes in.
