Thanks to our incredible snowmaking team and some tough-as-nails man-made snow, Ski Wentworth is officially OPEN for the 2025–26 season from 9am-4pm!

🎅🚒 Annual Pictou Fire Department Santa Run

Santa is coming to Market Square on December 20th with the Pictou Fire Department! Stop by for a visit with Santa and enjoy a few treats along the way.

Bring the kids, say hello, and soak up some holiday cheer, we hope to see you there!

What to Expect: Learn how to make a "Leave No Trace" fire . Set meaningful intentions for the year ahead.

Huge thanks to Antigonish This Week for shining a spotlight on our Bridge the Bauer campaign in this week’s issue. Your coverage helps us share why these essential life-safety upgrades at the Bauer Theatre are so important for keeping our campus–community stage safe, compliant, and active for students, artists, and audiences while we invest approximately $450,000 in fire-safety and code upgrades.

We are so grateful to everyone who has already stepped up to help “Bridge the Bauer” and ensure theatre in Antigonish has a secure home for the years ahead.
