“Wait... why the heck are you selling charm earrings if you’re a crocheter? 🤔”
Story Time 📖
(TL;DR at the bottom!)
I know, right!? If you’ve been following my page, you know my heart is deeply rooted in fiber art. I love every single stitch that goes into my crochet earrings. So seeing me post spooky-pastel charm earrings on my might feel like a weird & wild plot twist! Lol! 🎃🌸
Here is the real behind-the-scenes truth:
Living with chronic pain and joint issues (in my hands, neck, and pretty much everywhere else that keeps a maker put together, thank you, genetic disorders! 🤪) means I have real physical limits. I’m a human, not a machine, and I can't just mass-produce items on demand. As much as I’d love to sit and stitch all day long, working with micro-fine threads takes a heavy physical toll. Pacing myself isn't just about comfort, it's how I protect my body so I can keep creating for you long-term.
When I stumbled across these adorable, spooky-cute charms, I honestly fell in love. As a woman in my 40s who still adores cute-spooky style, I knew these weren't just for only the young gals... they’re for anyone who loves a fun, playful vibe!
Adding this hand-assembled charm line lets me bring three big things to the shop:
♡ Protecting My Joints: Hand-assembling these gives my hands, neck, and body a much-needed break from intense hook-and-thread work while keeping my creative energy flowing.
♡ Affordability: Not everyone has the budget for the price tag that labor-intensive crochet pieces require. These give you a budget-friendly way to grab pieces you love and support my small shop!
♡ Uncompromised Quality: These aren't cheap drop-shipped items. I personally hand-select quality, skin-conscious findings and assemble every pair in my studio to ensure they last. High quality and your happiness will always be my top priorities!
They aren't replacing my crochet, they're helping me sustain it. 💖🥹
TL;DR ⚡
☆ Managing joint pain means limiting my daily crochet time to protect my hands and neck.
☆ Charm earrings give me a break from hook work while adding an affordable option to the shop.
☆They aren't drop-shipped, I hand-select quality, skin-conscious findings and assemble each pair in my studio.
