On National Truth & Reconciliation Day, Tuesday September 30th, The Great Salish Heist will be screened at the Museum of Vancouver.

Screening Time: 1:00pm - 2:30pm
Tickets: Attendance is free with entry to the Museum by donation. All proceeds will go to the Indian Residential School Survivors Society (IRSSS).

Director Darrell Dennis and Tyler Peter, who plays Sawyer, will be in attendance for a Q&A session!

In this feature documentary we investigate the breaking of bounds of the Indian Act’s cultural oppression through the Tzinquaw Opera’s widespread acclaim in the 1950’s, leading to the present-day revitalization of Cowichan culture.

The entire Orca Cove Media and Less Bland Productions families are saddened by the passing of legendary actor Graham Greene. We had the joy and the great honour of having the opportunity to work with Graham on our comedy heist feature The Great Salish Heist and our coming of age romance Sweet Summer Pow Wow.

Our condolences to his wife Hilary, his family, friends and all who knew him. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten for his great performances and the trail he blazed for Indigenous talent for generations to come.
