Released on December 1, 2013, Fun Since Day One is the third full-length release from Edmonton, Alberta underground rap group The Liberators, featuring MC Self The Bluest Eye alongside producer John Press and Kazmega. Entirely produced by John Press, the album showcases Self’s thoughtful lyricism, sharp storytelling and unmistakable delivery over soulful, boom-bap-inspired production. Since the album’s release, Self The Bluest Eye has continued to build his reputation in underground hip-hop. Fun Since Day One stands as a strong chapter in The Liberators’ catalog, highlighting the group’s chemistry and their lasting contribution to Canada’s independent hip-hop scene.

“Ik, Ben Hartman” is Reazun’s Dutch-language debut album, released in 2014. Across twelve tracks, the Utrecht MC explores personal themes and everyday experiences, marking a shift from the French-language work he had previously become known for. The album includes guest appearances from Pax and combines introspective songwriting with a strong focus on lyricism.

During the period surrounding the release, Reazun built a growing reputation through live performances and his connection to the Kytopia and Kyteman circles. The album established him as a distinctive voice within Dutch underground hip-hop and laid the foundation for later collaborations and releases.
