Southeast Saskatchewan earth quake...

At 7:30 Friday evening, people in the Esterhazy area felt a significant earthquake. The tremor was picked up on the Lac Du Bonnett seismograph. Many people say this is the biggest earthquake they have ever felt.

“It was loud and we thought one of our big trees had fallen on the house. Last time we felt something like this was more than 40 years ago in Yarbo and that was a 3.9 quake,” said Bonnie Presiloski.

“We felt it at our place west of Yarbo. The biggest one we have ever felt,” said Loreen Janette Nagy.

“Almost splashed water out of our pool,” said Darryl Campbell.
