The first-ever vegetable to be grown in space was... the potato! 🥔 In 1995, NASA teamed up with researchers to grow potatoes in a controlled environment, mimicking conditions on a space shuttle.

This was a tiny step for a spud, but a giant leap for figuring out how to feed astronauts on long journeys! Pretty cool, huh?

A mindful minute with Nurat... 🍃

Sometimes our feelings feel SO big, don't they? It's okay. Let's do a quick "Breathing Buddy" exercise.

Find a small toy or stuffed animal.
Lie down and put it on your tummy.
Breathe in slowly... watch your buddy rise.
Breathe out slowly... watch your buddy fall.
See? Just a few calm breaths can help us feel a little better. You're doing great. 💖
