I used to think that being in business meant getting serious, losing yourself in numbers and spreadsheets. Just the thought made me cringe, until I finally got the courage to find out what the business model I now work with was actually all about.

Of course, you have to take things seriously, but that doesn't mean you have to lose your sense of humour along the way!

One of the things I've discovered is that you don't have to become someone else to build something. What you bring to the table is you — your personality, your quirks, your sense of humour and your uniqueness. And that's what allows the right people to connect with you and relate to what makes you, well... you.

So if you like to keep things light, laugh a little and enjoy yourself along the way, why should business be any different?
And then, as if I needed a little reminder, I opened a fortune cookie… 😂

There are business models where the products and infrastructure are already in place — all you need to do is focus on learning the marketing side and building your business.

Before I started my search I assumed I’d have to create something, build a website, figure out how to sell online and somehow get people to buy it.

Turns out, there are other ways to earn without selling !

That’s exactly what caught my attention — and it’s what I’m learning as I build my own digital business on the side as I work as a tour guide, looking after my family and everything else going on in my life.

One of the things I love about learning all this is discovering just how many possibilities I never knew existed.

I feel like a kid in a candy store full of choices and I just found my favorite candy! 🍭 🥳

When I started looking for a way to earn online, I knew there had to be something out there for me — I just didn’t know what.

I had no product, no clue about social media or any digital expertise. Basically, I was stumped as to where to begin!

I ended up scrolling way too much and discovered that building a digital business doesn’t necessarily mean creating a product or running an online shop.

There are other ways! 😅

For me, it’s been about learning practical digital skills through video-based training, at my own pace, and putting those skills into practice one step at a time.

And I’m doing it alongside a global community of like-minded people who are also learning and building as they go.

Sometimes the first thing you need to build isn’t a product — it’s the courage to take that first step and see what’s possible. ✨

All my life I’ve been searching off the beaten path… here I am while on a getaway in the pre alps- far from most touristic places… we never crossed paths with anyone along the trails - yes that’s still possible in Italy! 😅

Even when it comes to work I like to think I’m a little unconventional - self employed while also working in the online space building a digital business.

At times it’s hard, at times I want to throw in the towel but most days I just push through because the benefits outweigh what life could be like if I just quit.

Plus I’m learning so much as I go I really wouldn’t have it any other way! 🤩🤩
