Halfway through my 10k this morning, I was feeling amazing, full-on stoked and creating momentum ! 💪🏃‍♀️✨

Then I check my selfie later… and apparently my face had its own ideas about how happy I looked. 🤪

Who else’s “mental smile” doesn’t always make it to the camera? 😂

I swear I had an ear to ear smile in my mind!🙈🙈😆

Last week, I missed my team meeting.🫠

I didn’t do it on purpose… I was with my daughter at the beach, enjoying a moment I couldn’t—and wouldn’t—miss.

Priorities, right? 💜

It’s summertime, kids aren’t in school, and holding it all together can be… a little challenging at times...

Expecting to be a top time manager is useless when you’re chasing the whims of a 6-year-old! 😅

During the summer, our meetings happen only twice a month, so missing one means waiting two whole weeks for the next. 🫣

I probably (definitely) could have organized myself better… but clearly, I’ve still got a lot to learn.

This little hiccup reminded me something important:
those meetings aren’t just about updates or strategy—they’re about energy, connection, and accountability.

Being part of a team that lifts you up? Priceless.

So yes, I missed the meeting. And yes, I’m learning the art of juggling priorities—and that sometimes the best choice is to focus on what truly matters. Like laughter, sunshine, and my daughter.

The good news?

Once the kids are back in school, we’ll be back to our once-a-week meetings and a much more predictable schedule, so I’ll be able to dedicate my time accordingly and never miss them again.

👉 It’s summertime, things are a bit chaotic, and yes, sometimes I miss a meeting. But having people in my corner? That’s what really matters. Everything else… just bumps along the way.

On mom duty this week. 💕 Tours are slow this time of year, so I get to lean into my digital business and organize my days around my little girl’s needs.

To me, this is the ideal way to work.

I truly believe my daughter’s generation will be the one to look back at the late 20th and early 21st century and wonder how we managed raising kids with both parents out of the house, tied to someone else’s schedule.

One day it’ll sound like a story from “way back when parents were bound by the company clock.”

I believe the future will look very different — with digital businesses as a common additional income stream, making it normal for one (or both!) parents to work on their own schedule, from wherever they choose.

And right now, I’m proud to say I’m part of that shift — a mighty movement of parents and entrepreneurs working hard to bring that future closer, breaking down barriers and misconceptions one step at a time.

👉 What do you think? Do you believe flexible, digital-first work will become the new normal for parents?
