Last week, I missed my team meeting.🫠
I didn’t do it on purpose… I was with my daughter at the beach, enjoying a moment I couldn’t—and wouldn’t—miss.
Priorities, right? 💜
It’s summertime, kids aren’t in school, and holding it all together can be… a little challenging at times...
Expecting to be a top time manager is useless when you’re chasing the whims of a 6-year-old! 😅
During the summer, our meetings happen only twice a month, so missing one means waiting two whole weeks for the next. 🫣
I probably (definitely) could have organized myself better… but clearly, I’ve still got a lot to learn.
This little hiccup reminded me something important:
those meetings aren’t just about updates or strategy—they’re about energy, connection, and accountability.
Being part of a team that lifts you up? Priceless.
So yes, I missed the meeting. And yes, I’m learning the art of juggling priorities—and that sometimes the best choice is to focus on what truly matters. Like laughter, sunshine, and my daughter.
The good news?
Once the kids are back in school, we’ll be back to our once-a-week meetings and a much more predictable schedule, so I’ll be able to dedicate my time accordingly and never miss them again.
👉 It’s summertime, things are a bit chaotic, and yes, sometimes I miss a meeting. But having people in my corner? That’s what really matters. Everything else… just bumps along the way.
