Quick question for everyone…

Are you sticking with Facebook, or have you found yourself scrolling TikTok more lately? 😅

We’ve been tossing some shorter ride clips and random moments up there… the kind of stuff that doesn’t always make it into full posts here.

Nothing fancy, just real rides and whatever happens along the way.

One of those rides where you can feel the season changing. Trails full again, lots of people out, and dogs loving every minute of it. Rolled through it all and dipped under the tracks through a graffiti tunnel before popping back out into the sunshine. Days like this are exactly why we ride.

Took the e-bikes out in Jasper National Park and wow… it’s still hard to wrap your head around what the wildfires from summer 2024 did out there.

You’ll be cruising through unreal mountain views, then suddenly hit stretches of burnt trees and blackened ground. It’s a mix of beautiful and heavy at the same time.

Seeing it in person really puts it into perspective, but you can already spot signs of recovery starting too.

Great morning ride through Jasper with some solid miles already behind us. Decided to keep it going on one of the paved trails… and that’s when it happened.

Front tire flat. Ride over. Walk back begins. Thankfully we weren't too far out of town, so it was more of an inconvenience.

Still, pushing a fat tire bike back to the hotel wasn’t exactly part of the plan. If only real life had a timelapse button like the end of this video!

We finally got a break in the weather, so we took the chance to get out for a ride. Warmer temperatures meant everything was wet and slushy, but after a stretch of colder days it felt great just to be back on the bikes.

By the end of the ride our pants were soaked and the bike definitely needed a wipe down, but no complaints here. We’ll take these little taste-of-spring days whenever we can.

Now we’re just waiting for the real thing… enough with the false spring already. 🌱🚲

Yesterday finally gave us a break in the weather, so we took advantage of the first nice day in awhile. The warm weather made everything wet and slushy, but it still felt great to get out for a ride. Midway through, a loose pedal crank kept sending us to the side of the trail to tighten it, and eventually we had to call it early. Not the smoothest ride, but after the stretch of cold days, it was just good to be back out.

Freezing rain ride yesterday 🥶 Goggles iced up, components crusted in ice, and heated gloves absolutely clutch. Winter riding is a different sport. ❄️
