Okay so… confession time: this is my first ever Romantasy series. I used to completely poo-poo the romance-heavy stuff 🙈 I know, I know. But after hearing everyone and their fae mother rave about this series, I finally caved.

And OH. MY. GODDESS.

I started A Court of Thorns and Roses on July 1st - my first full day in Alberta - and somehow, between 3 dogs, a cat, a husband, a very full trailer life, house-hunting, and catching up on missed family time, I’ve made it halfway through book 3. That’s like 1,400+ pages in 17 days…not my usual speed, but d*mn impressive given the chaos.

Fantasy has always been my one of my main jams, and this series delivers:
⚔️ Action.
💔 Complicated relationships.
🌗 Real character growth.
🔥 Tension you can feel.
✨ Magic, bargains & ancient power.
🏹 Loyalty, betrayal, and badassery.
🌹 And yes…all the steamy, swoony moments I swore I wouldn’t fall for.

Turns out I do like a little spice with my swordplay.

Anyone else obsessed with this series? No spoilers - but tell me your favorite character so far! 👀👇

This came up in my memories and it got me wondering...

Does anyone else send a ridiculous amount of random photos with filters back and forth with their teenager on Snapchat?

I dont remember the last time we sent something 'normal' to each other.

I need to know I'm not alone on this one. 😅

And yes, I sent this as a reply to my kiddo using the same filter he had just messaged me with. I always reply with whatever ridiculous filter he sends first.
