🥶 A cold signal has returned in the weather models for the last week of January.

Will this one actually prove to be real or will it stay easy if the Rockies like the other cold blasts so far this season? I lean toward the latter but we’ll see as we get closer.

🌩️ COASTAL T-STORMS

It looks like we’ll have some lightning strikes along the coast on Wednesday. There isn’t much energy to bring thunder all the way to the I-5 corridor but an isolated lightning strike or two wouldn’t surprise me as far east as the Cascades.

🌧️ TUESDAY COLD FRONT

Look for rain and heavy mountain snow tomorrow as a cold front moves through the Pacific Northwest. Heavy rain is possible at times in Vancouver, Seattle, and Portland.

Some mountain locations in BC and Washington will see over 20 inches (50 cm) of new snow.
