Years ago, Aaron Gunn covered my 4 decades-long battle with the parole system to keep my daughter Alecia’s killer and ra**st behind bars. Today, I had the honor of being interviewed by one of Europe’s largest magazine publishers. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to share Alecia’s story and to advocate for long-overdue changes in Canada’s justice system. At the end of September, Alecia would have celebrated her 40th birthday.
