Ni- Naadamaadiz: Red Power Rising is Makwa Creative's latest documentary. Jordan Kelly was in from Ottawa to do the reading in Anishinabemowin after Farrell White had previously completed the translations. We also made sure that producer Tanya Talaga could attend remotely as Jordan recreated the charismatic words of Louie Cameron who led an Indigenous land reclamation protest in a Northwestern Ontario park. ✊⚡️🔺

Behind every great band is a great team. When Marc Nadjiwan came up from Toronto, they had a couple of other people in the room. Mastering By Ron Skinner, producer and mastering engineer as well as the owner of Heading North Music was calling the shots while MacKenzie Davis engineered the session at his direction. Meanwhile, Laura Merilainen kept a watchful eye on the operation as the co-owner of Meriläinen Music - a record label focusing on helping Indigenous musicians succeed within the music industry. 👏⛓️✍️
