I’ve recently been thinking a lot about/ exploring/ dismantling and reconfiguring my identity. It’s wild to think about some of the many components we claim to describe ourselves. There are many boxes to place yourself inside of. Spiritual, cultural, physical, psychological, sexual, gender, economic status, relationship status, artistic, place of origin, place you live currently, the list goes on an on.

When I look at these I see a woman, full of contradictions, light and dark, both polished and gritty, tamed and feral, who is the artist and the art, the creator and the creation, supernatural, a dancer, a fashionista, connection with nature, the body as a medium, movement as medicine, power, softness, growth, reclamation, unapologetic authenticity

Film making is alchemy. A little science and a little magic. Screen Alchemist Productions was started in 2014 out of my little Vancouver apartment and has followed me all the way to the rugged coast of Vancouver Island and back again. I have had the opportunity to capture the amazing stories of real people and explore breathtaking places through the lens of my camera. I hope to share my inspiration about the magic that life has to offer through my art.
