APC is lawless and the relevant law enforcement bodies have all of a sudden gone blind and deaf. APC has begun campaigns for 2027 yet in the beginning of 2025. Doesn't this mean playing a game against its rules? The disoriented President of the Nigerian Senate yesterday declared open the 2027 polls for the APC. Campaign billboards of Mr Tinubu for 2027 have been spotted at different locations including the seat of national power, Abuja. Police & DSS aren't saying anything about it.
Insecurity won't be defeated in the Nigeria of today because the federal government is thriving in lawlessness. The APC outing yesterday in the Presidential Villa was an act of plucking a fruit unripe. INEC hasn't declared activities leading to 2027 polls open, but APC and the federal government have begun campaigning openly, mounting campaign billboards. How can insecurity be tackled when the ruling party is lawlessness - personified? Tompolo was invited by the EFCC but he refused honouring the invitation and I guess nothing will happen. A court convicted a Professor alleged to have rigged election in 2023 for Akpabio Godswill, but the same man is said to be walking freely in the society without a consequence, despite his conviction.
It's good the APC government is teaching Nigerians the act of lawlessness. You arrest terrorists and instead of treating them like one, you reintegrate them into the society, citing their rehabilitation, but many innocent people are languishing in prison facilities, people whose only crime was criticizing government's policies and programmes and other political office holders for gross administrative malfeasance. APC came to destroy.
