I had the great pleasure of being in the presence of Pope Francis on my last trip to the Vatican in 2021. In this photo he met and exchanged words with my late father-in-law who cherished the moment for the remaining days of his life. A Pope for the common man. May his soul rest in peace. ❤️

Happy to be returning for a third season to call League1 Ontario games on the league’s YouTube channel. My first two assignments this year are derby matches beginning this Saturday with a women’s Premier division game between Vaughan and Woodbridge from North Maple. The spring season means renewal and ADB Creative Consulting has renewed collaborations with a number of key soccer organizations, both here and abroad, as the playing season winds down in certain parts of the world while the competitive season is just beginning here in North America. Last month, I renewed a collaboration with Steve Nijjar, head of Toronto-based Steve Nijjar Sports & Entertainment, and president of Racing Madrid, the lower division Spanish club that he and his partners revived some three years ago and, today, is on the verge of an historic promotion....

Dropped by Eglinton Square today for an activation event in support of , Scarborough’s own pro-am soccer club. Saw some old friends, enjoyed some freestyling and picked up some 🔥merch . Borough FC kicks off its 2025 L1O Championship season next week with a Cup match in St Catharines. Home opener at Birchmount Stadium is Apr 26. Let’s go!! ⚽️
