I rolled into 2025 with a cold but before the year was up I asked my husband to stop into to visit .hello for their final pop up shop day.
He came home just in time for me to post shower slip into THE COMFIEST streetwear I now own. Everything fit so amazing and the quality of the fabric of these basics is like no other. This is all on top of starting the conversation about buying Indigenous from Indigenous creators.
Please don’t mind me as all I wear this year is .hello!! Props to fellow female entrepreneur for the vision to bring the first Indigenous owned department store to life. You’re an inspiration and your team are the sweetest people ever.

Did you spy a lil something in your inboxes today?!

We are beyond stoked to be able to offer mentorship opportunities with the in the new year. The CCE community massively helped give me my start as an editor and their vast experience, knowledge, and support is truly invaluable.
Thank you to our fellow Canadian Cinema Editors, let’s make some cool s**t together and take the intimidation out of post. 💙

Sharing stories has always been our passion. Sharing stories based on lived experiences extends a population’s collective wisdom. Sharing stories from Canada’s indigenous peoples begins to crack the historical facade which colonizers worked so hard to cement and brings forth arguably the richest and wisest stories this nation has to offer.

We are humble supporters each and every day, but today is a reminder of what we’re here to do and where we need to go next.

This week, we attended the Canadian Screen Awards as nominees for Best Picture Editing in Documentary. Although we did not take home a trophy this time, we are honoured to be recognized by The Canadian Academy and our peers. This film was one very close to our hearts, one that we poured ourselves into.
We are proud to have been part of this project and to be able to share Tom Wilson's story, one that is unfortunately not unique for Indigenous People in Canada. It's important for us to continue to amplify Indigenous voices and as non-Indigenous people, to listen.
This is both of our first nominations, but definitely not our last. Watch out world 😉 we're comin' for ya!
Last but not least, congratulations to our fellow nominees and to Hungry Eyes Media on their win for BLK: An Origin Story ❤️
