The Mom Room

The Mom Room Honest conversations about motherhood... so you don't lose yourself in it.

Tomorrow’s episode is one I have been so excited to share with you! 🥰

Miranda Kerr said something that really stopped me in my tracks … that she knows how she feels when she’s in a room with someone who’s on their phone. And she refuses to make her kids feel that way.

One on one time, once a week, doing whatever they choose. I love this so much and I cannot wait for you to hear the full conversation!

New episode with drops tomorrow. You won’t want to miss it!🤍

This week’s solo episode was truly all over the place and I am not sorry about it. 💁‍♀️

We talked about the height restrictions I learned about the hard way, what actually comes up when you search certain things on TikTok, and why grade six was genuinely one of the best years of my life.

🎙️ New solo episode is out now!

Scared? Yes. Doing it anyway? Also yes. 🙋‍♀️

said something that stuck with me. That the part of you that panics before you do something scary is just your teenage self trying to protect you.

And your grown up self has to step in and say yeah we’re doing this anyway.
I think about this every single time I agree to do public speaking and immediately regret it.

Your algorithm isn’t showing you the bad stuff … but that doesn’t mean it isn’t there!

I searched one word on TikTok this week and immediately understood why people say kids shouldn’t have it. 🤯

This week’s solo episode is out now! Give it a listen and let me know your thoughts below!👇

This week’s episode is an exciting one!

Taylor Wolfe joined me on The Mom Room and we went there. The mental load. Marriage being the hardest part of parenting. Using humor to survive the really dark stuff. And why unfollowing someone is sometimes the kindest thing you can do for yourself.

If it’s making you feel bad, you’re allowed to leave. 🙌

Taylor and I discussed something I think more of us need to hear. That even people she likes, people she thinks are genuinely good, she has had to unfollow in different seasons of her life. Not because of anything they did wrong. Just because it wasn’t good for her at that time.

Sometimes unfollowing is less about being rude and more about self care.

Nobody told me that perimenopause could mess with your skin barrier. Like not once did that cross my mind.

I have had sensitive skin for years and just assumed it was a post-baby thing. Turns out perimenopause might have something to do with it. 🫠

If you’ve also been experiencing perimenopause, I’m diving into what I’ve been experiencing in this week’s solo episode! 🎙️
