I wanted to do something special for Mother’s Day for my mom and aunt who lost their parents.

My Damda passed at an early age and my Granny passed a few years ago. The four of them don’t have a lot of pictures together, so thought I’d change that.

These four hold a huge spot in my heart🤍

We’ve always been obsessed with flowers and flower arrangements!

These sketches started as creating a tattoo for myself with meaningful flowers. However, now I can’t stop making combinations.

Our client makes one adorable baby! Brooks is not only very photogenic, but he knows how to work the camera.

These are custom made reverse canvases for two little ones birthdays last week.

We’ve blanked out the wording for their privacy, but they can have full name, birthdays, birth locations, first dates, wedding venue, first homes, any option that can be on a map.

The digital print is included in the frame. We can do a couple picture, singular portrait, family picture, etc.

Colour blocking digital files will also be a feature we’ll post later

We had a special request for a little peanut’s big 3rd birthday and we couldn’t say no!

This little peanut apparently loves everything fire trucks, so naturally we made fire trucks, fire, and fire hydrants to go along with the wording.

We’re so happy with how all this turned out!

We had a very special request from a very special person to make some baby onesies to announce a pregnancy and we WERE THRILLED!

These were so fun to design and we can’t wait to see the little one in them. We do have a few more we’ve made, but those were personal to our client.

These will be a staple on our inventory and come in 0-3, 3-6 and 6-12. Colour option may be difficult based on availability.

A new style we’ve been seeing is clear storage containers for everything from spices to cereal to snacks to beauty products.

We wanted to spice up...we had too...our spice labels to be a bit more modern. As well as being mindful of living a minimal lifestyle and using less waste by using reusable containers.

Back in December, we didn’t see any wreaths we liked at any store which made for a new creative challenge. So we decided to get a few items and make our own...the saying is an inside joke with us “wink wink”

These won’t be a staple item as it is dependent on the availability of fake flowers, but they have the possibility to order these during those times.

These are made with a 12in embroidery hoop, fake flowers, and the possible added centre saying

We’ve added custom designed glasses for all occasions. These are made with permanent vinyl that are hand wash only.

These are made on 16oz stemless wine glasses, but they can be made on any type of glass: beer, Champaign, wine, shot glass etc.

We’ve add Personalized Keychains to our item list.

These can be a persons name, a saying, a logo, an image, etc. They can come with various colour backgrounds or be clear. These are examples of what can be done.

This hoop is so special to me as I made it for my momma! Fun fact - I’m half Jamaican and my mom was born in Kingston. My grandparents, my mom and her siblings moved to Canada after Jamaica was unsafe for them to stay. It’s a very unique piece of who I am.

I’ve been there once, but I’m hoping to go back several more times to see her heritage, her culture, and the beauty Jamaica has.

This hoop is fully embroidered in the country which is outlined with the Jamaican flag. The wording is black infusible ink made with Cricut and an easy press

This hoop has a special meaning for our client that met her new partner outside King & James Convenience in Hamilton. This was a learning curve for us, as it was first time we used heat transfer vinyl on fabric with our new toy for the business.

The lettering was cut on a Cricut Explore Aor 2, heat sealed by a press and then we embroidery stitched the outline to make it pop. This style is something we haven’t seen on the market, but one we are so excited to make more of!

Over the last few years, we’ve fallen in love with embroidery designs. With what started as something to do at night, it’s now a major part of our business.

A few of these hoops have been made to order, others as starting gifts for friends and family. We still have a few more we’re working on and will share shortly.

Hello and welcome to my page!

Bright creations is not only my last name, but also a new and exciting business venture I’ve decided to pursue. It’s the year of new adventures!

A little bit about my self. My names Alex Bright, I’m a Canadian from the Niagara region with a love for all things creative and crafting. I have a background in Broadcasting, Sports and Event marketing. I’ve had the pleasure of working in various fields from marketing with MLSE, event and game day coordinating with the Toronto Rock and recently in the event planning business for weddings and parties. Yet due to covid sort of halting that industry, I was laid off back in 2020 like a lot of other people.

I wasn’t sure what was my “next step” was going to be, but I’ve always had this passion to start my own business and express my creative side. Alas Bright Creations!
