37 today.
10 years ago I was 27, alone in a truck, barely keeping my eyes open driving home from a job site.
I’d just lost my entire crew. Years of building that team. One bad hire rotted it from the inside out. Everyone had to go.
Massive job loss right before that. Bad decisions. Too much growth. No foundation.
Everything collapsed at once.
I started working alone just to keep the doors open.
Then I hired a guy named Pawel.
Day one, test job. I told him one rule. One thing he could not do.
He did it. Fell straight through the ceiling.
But then he did something I’d never seen. Owned it on the spot. Offered to pay it back from his wages. Zero excuses.
Found my guy right there.
What happened in the 10 years after that moment:
Married the love of my life.
Sold services in 6 countries.
Moved to Canada. Visa rejected. Twice.
Became number one salesperson in the country. 3 months.
Built a network from nothing.
Launched a podcast.
Almost lost it all. Again.
Built it back. Again.
Bought a dream house.
Started a company with my better half.
Best shape of my life.
Just getting started.
If the 27 year old version of me could see this, he wouldn’t believe it.
But he’d understand one thing.
He showed up the next day. And the one after that. And that was enough.
