February 19th, 2023 - celebrating the emerging Singer/Songwriter .vinyl.

Jon Vinyl has swept the R&B scene with his soulful voice and has garnered the attention of many notable blogs and industry powerhouses including MTV, Billboard, OVO Radio, and more. Before his career truly took off, he managed to build an at home studio and has been making music since the young age of 15.

Jon has managed to continuously evolve his music over the years, conveying layers of emotional intelligence and raw honesty. His uniquely sophisticated yet vulnerable sound has propelled him to over 1 million listeners on Spotify and 2 JUNO Award nominations in a row for 2022 and 2023's Traditional R&B/Soul Recording of The Year.

February 18th, 2023 - celebrating the clever and inspirational .

DijahSB is a quickly emerging Toronto-based rapper that brings a taste of intersectionality, honesty, and vulnerability to the table. Dijah has been perfecting their craft since childhood, and cites Lupe Fiasco, Kid Cudi, and Pusha T as their musical influences.

Striving to represent people that don't always feel accepted by society, DijahSB has shown up and shown out as a successful Black nonbinary musician. With over 500,000 monthly listeners on Spotify, multiple live performances (including Toronto's own Manifesto), and features by Complex Canada, Okayplayer, CBC Music, BlogTO, The FADER and more, DijahSB's career is unstoppable.

Dijah also uses their massive social media presence to make their fanbase both laugh and think critically about important social issues. They continue to be radical, relatable, and real, whether it's online or through the mic.

Dijah, thank you for continuing to represent the underrepresented. Your work ethic is undeniable and we celebrate you today and always!

February 17th, 2023 - celebrating the artistic and multitalented Choreographer, Director and Movement Coach, .

Hollywood is one of Toronto's greatest creative forces, having a career that spans over 15 years of greatness and Black excellence. As a dancer and choreographer, he's worked alongside some of the greatest entertainers of our generation including Jully Black, Snoop Dogg, Nelly Furtado and Rihanna just to name a few. His involvement in countless tours, TV shows, music videos, and awards shows has solidified his place across North America as a truly passionate, noteworthy creative.

Despite the barriers that Hollywood has faced as a Black q***r man, he has managed to push past every single obstacle and create a lane for himself. In 2011, Hollywood founded his own performance company, "Hollywood Jade Presents Urbanesque" managing to blend the world of Burlesque with Hip-Hop. He has appeared in projects like "Hairspray", "Save The Last Dance 2", and is a series regular on "Canada's Drag Race." From 2017-2021, he also served as an Artistic Director for The Black Diamond Ball. Hollywood continues to push boundaries and diversity in entertainment and is definitely one to watch.

Hollywood, thank you for showing us the true power of authenticity, creativity and leadership. Your work continues to inspire us all and we celebrate you today and always!
