If you are not scared of entering the bear country, or if you have not done Swan Lake trail before, I highly recommend! It offers breathtaking views and is easily marked that even I (who gets lost in two pine trees) can do it solo easily. It took me 25 minutes with a pretty fast pace, but I wasn’t carrying any weight and am more of an experienced hiker at this point. The hike starts with a beautiful boardwalk and if you are looking carefully, you can see turtles 🐢

The Grotto in November! This place is beautiful at any time of the year I am sure, but going this late almost guarantees that you are unlikely to see many people on the trails! Of course, this isn't the right time if you want to take a dip there, even for me 🙂 What a week to visit this magnificent park; it was one of my best experiences in nature this year... My walk was amazing, especially with the right company! Enjoy some photographs.

Hi! This is the first time I am doing this, but I will put it out there to see if there is any interest and any other crazy people out there :) It's a little short notice, but we are preparing for our next backcountry adventure starting this Sunday to Saturday. Looking for like-minded individuals to join us for a 7-day trip. The difficulty level is intermediate, so you should have some experience in backcountry canoeing or at least know what you are doing, and have a great sense of humor. The maximum party we can have is 3 canoes. Must be comfortable with video recording as I may decide to do some filming. Any takers? I also welcome any suggestions on possible routes. If interested comment below and PM me for more information, to plan the route, and get to know each other better to see if we are compatible to make sure it's a great experience for everyone.
