The International Rose Test Garden in Portland is a stunning hillside haven with over 10,000 rose bushes from around the world, plus amazing city views. It’s the oldest continuously operating public rose test garden in the United States.

Coava Coffee Roasters – 1300 SE Grand Ave, Portland

Morning coffee rituals are a must on my trips, and I always aim for local spots with some personality. In Portland, I found Coava Coffee Roasters and it totally delivered.

Think: a big industrial space redesigned into a café, with old machines turned into tables. Pretty cool, right? Add to that some seriously good coffee, and you’ve got the perfect place to caffeinate and chill.

They have a few locations around the city, but this one on SE Grand Ave totally worth to visit.
