Choosing to be there for your child is never a wrong decision.

I’d choose it again without a second thought.
But I wish someone had told me this...

That in the middle of giving everything to your child, you still need to keep something for yourself.

Because one day, your child will grow... become independent...

And in that moment, you shouldn’t feel lost.
You should feel proud of the life you built alongside raising them.

You don’t have to step out of your home to do that.
You don’t have to choose between your child and your dreams.

You can build something in the quiet moments... during naps, after bedtime, in between your daily routine.

That’s exactly what I’m doing now.

Not because I regret anything, but because I deserve to grow too.

I took my boys to Tim Hortons, and we each had our own little drinks—just sitting together, enjoying an ordinary day.

In that moment I looked at them and thought… I want to remember this exactly as it is.

So I told my son, “Every year, let’s come back and take a picture like this—me, you, and baby—so one day we can look back and see how much you’ve grown.”

He looked at me and asked, “Why, Amma?”

And my heart felt so full.

Because one day these tiny hands won’t reach for mine the same way.
Because these little faces will grow and change.
Because the days feel long sometimes… but the years move so fast.

And I know there will come a time when I’ll look back at this photo and miss these exact moments with all my heart.
I’ll see how far they’ve come.

I’ll remember who they were in this season.

And I’ll feel so proud of these two beautiful boys I carried, raised, and get to love every single day.

My husband has the first income... and I’m truly grateful for that.

But somewhere in between caring for my home, my child, and everyday life, I felt something inside me saying - I also want to build something of my own.

So I decided to start my second income from home, as a stay-at-home mom.

Not ecause I have to... but because I want to grow, learn, and create my own financial independence while still being present for my family.

It’s not always easy. Some days are slow, some days are uncertain... but I’m learning, building, and showing up consistently.

Let’s be honest... the world has never felt more uncertain for our generation, and for many of us hitting that midlife/career crisis right now is pretty terrifying At least it definitely is for me

I went from having a job that to not my field but feeling like it was costing precious time with my kids...

To not having a job and suddenly questioning my worth

To applying for jobs and trying to explain a “career pivot” without sounding like I’m having an identity crisis.

To looking at the current job market and realizing that part-time for my role doesn’t really exist, and every
