Planners often talk about "impacts", such as environmental impacts, shadow impacts, traffic impacts, etc. Neighbours of development also talk about impacts, on property values, quality of life, visuals etc. Are these all objective impacts, or subjective? Does the severity of "impact" from new development differ depending on who is impacted? How have you been impacted by new development?
