MOTHÁ Story

Unveiling my new project.

Family, it’s time to be part of the MOTHÁ Project. I want to share the story behind it.

I am MrDynasty — a husband, a father, and above all, a man with empathy who cannot stand injustice, especially when it is meted out to the poor. Over the years, I have used my platform to speak against injustice, leadership failure, and lack of accountability among people in authority.

I have supported and assisted families, especially mothers, with financial needs out of my own pocket. I have supported struggling Nigerians — widows, single mothers, sick children, and families pushed into poverty by the harsh economic crisis and leadership failures in Nigeria.

I gave, not because I had abundance, but because I could not ignore the cries of the poor. But over time, I learned a painful truth: handouts are not sustainable. People kept coming back, not out of greed, but because handouts cannot lift people out of poverty.

Whilst life in Nigeria keeps getting harder, there is hunger and economic hardship, and there are no real jobs for these people to fall back on.

The Nigerian government is very irresponsible; they have refused to create an environment where a common man can thrive and survive. My compassion was real, but the solution was temporary.

Another side that drives me: the high rate of maternal mortality. This area is very dear to my heart—the stories that always broke my heart even deeper.

In Nigeria today, maternal mortality rates are among the highest in the world. Too many women die giving life simply because they cannot afford care. MOTHÁ exists to change that reality—one garment, one story, one mother at a time.

The Hard Truth

• According to the United Nations, Nigeria is now the most dangerous country on earth for a woman to give birth.

• They estimate that 1 in every 100 women will die during childbirth or within 24 hours of giving birth.

• The World Health Organization (WHO) reported in 2019 that Nigeria alone accounted for 20% of global maternal deaths. That’s 1 in 22 Nigerian women at risk compared to 1 in 4,900 in developed nations.

• In 2023, over 75,000 women died during childbirth in Nigeria — a quarter of all maternal deaths globally.

• On average, one Nigerian woman dies every 7 minutes due to pregnancy or childbirth.

And one of the leading causes? Poverty. Too many women are turned away at hospital gates because they cannot pay.

Below are just a few cases of maternal crisis in Nigeria that made the news recently:

• A mother in Lagos lost her life because her husband couldn’t pay ₦500,000 (just over $300). The hospital refused to attend to her until the money was paid. Unfortunately, she died in the process.

• Another woman in Abuja lost her twin babies because she couldn’t raise ₦28,000 (less than $20) in time. Before she could find someone to help her, it was already too late—the babies had died in her womb hours before.

• In Akwa Ibom, a mother and her newborn died after being left unattended in a hospital for hours. There was no doctor on site to attend to her needs.

These are not just numbers — they are tragedies of mothers, sisters, and daughters who deserved better.

MrDynasty Solution: MOTHÁ

MOTHÁ is more than an Afrocentric apparel brand — it’s a movement that transforms fashion into a lifeline. Each garment tells the story of African motherhood and channels funds directly into programs that empower, protect, and uplift women.

We combine culture, compassion, and commerce to create sustainable impact: with every piece you wear, you are helping mothers survive, thrive, and build dignity.

What is MOTHÁ?

MOTHÁ simply means “Mother Africa.” It is more than an apparel brand — it is a movement, a celebration of African mothers.

MOTHÁ is an Afrocentric apparel brand that merges art, heritage, and purpose. Our collections celebrate African mothers and the journey of motherhood through illustrative and powerful art. Each design tells a story of resilience, sacrifice, and strength — the everyday courage of mothers across Africa.

But at its core, MOTHÁ is a social impact movement. We are using fashion to fight poverty and maternal mortality, while empowering women to create sustainable livelihoods.

Our Three Pillars of Impact

1️⃣ Empowering Mothers
We provide vulnerable mothers with Grade A refurbished laptops and free digital skill training, giving them the tools to work from home, gain in-demand skills, earn income, and support their families with dignity.

2️⃣ Protecting Women’s Health
We fund prenatal and postnatal care for vulnerable women who are often turned away from hospitals due to poverty. No woman should die while giving life.

3️⃣ Supporting Small Businesses
For women who prefer to pursue a small business instead of digital skills, we provide startup support equivalent to the value of laptops. This enables them to launch or sustain small businesses with dignity.

The Vision

My vision is simple but urgent: to turn compassion into empowerment, empathy into opportunity, and fashion into a statement of justice and celebration of African motherhood.

Our short-time goal is bold but achievable if we all join hands together: with MOTHÁ, we aim to support 500 women in our first 3 year through one of our three key programs. But I cannot do this alone.

I need you — the Dynasty family. Together, we can make MOTHÁ a success story. Together, we can prove that fashion can save lives. Together, we can honor African mothers and say with one voice: no woman should die because she is poor.

The Call to Action

This is where you, the Dynasty Family, come in. To make MOTHÁ a success story, I need you to:
• Share the vision.
• Spread the word.
• Make our launch go viral.
• Wear the brand and stand for mothers.

When you wear MOTHÁ, you are not just wearing clothes — you are standing with mothers, honoring Africa’s legacy, and saying no woman should die because she is poor.

This is only the beginning. Soon, I will unveil the first collection of MOTHÁ apparel, available worldwide. Together, we can make sure fashion is not just about looking good — but about doing good.

When you wear MOTHÁ, you are not just wearing clothes. You are standing with mothers. You are wearing resilience. You are wearing justice. You are wearing a movement.

The first collection is coming soon — available worldwide. Let’s make sure fashion is not just about looking good, but about doing good.

✨ Join me. Stand with mothers. Wear MOTHÁ.

💔 Why I Created MOTHÁ

Yesterday I read yet another heartbreaking story: a mother and her newborn baby dièď in Ikot Ekpene General Hospital, Akwa Ibom State due to hospital negligence. On the same day, another pregnant woman losț her twin babies because she could not pay ₦28,000 on time.

What a shame. What a tragedy. This is happening in a country where a senator collects almost ₦14 million monthly, and some religious leaders are demanding ₦1 billion donations from their members. The contrast is painful.

But my purpose in writing this post is not politics — it is to draw attention to the maternal health crişiș in Nigeria.

📊 The Hard Truth
• According to the United Nations, Nigeria is now the most dangeroųș country on earth for a woman to give birth.
• They estimate that 1 in every 100 women will dié during childbirth or within 24 hours of giving birth.
• The World Health Organization (WHO) reported in 2019 that Nigeria alone accounted for 20% of global maternal dèathș. That’s 1 in 22 Nigerian women at risk compared to 1 in 4,900 in developed nations.
• In 2023 alone, over 75,000 women dièď during childbirth in Nigeria — a quarter of all maternal dèathș globally.
• On average, one Nigerian woman dièș every 7 minutes due to pregnancy or childbirth.

And one of the leading causes? Poverty. Too many women are turned away at hospital gates because they cannot pay.

🌹 Why MOTHÁ Exists

No woman should dié while giving life. Childbirth is sacred — yet in Nigeria, it has become a déáth sentence for too many women.

This is why I created MOTHÁ — an apparel brand that celebrates African mothers, resilience, beauty, and strength. Every design tells a story of dignity and legacy. But MOTHÁ is not just about clothing.

MOTHÁ is fashion with purpose.

✨ What MOTHÁ Will Do

Every purchase from MOTHÁ directly fuels impact for Nigerian mothers and families:

1️⃣ Protecting Women’s Health
Proceeds will go toward support for prenatal care and delivery cost for vulnerable pregnant women in underrepresented communities — so no woman is turned away from a hospital because she is poor.

2️⃣ Empowering Mothers
We will provide Grade A refurbished laptops and free digital marketing training for mothers — equipping them with digital skills to earn a living and become financially independent.

3️⃣ Supporting Small Business Dreams
We will also provide mothers the equivalent support of refurbished laptops to invest in a small business of their choice.

🔥 The Movement

MOTHÁ is not just a brand — it is a movement to fight maternal mortality, to empower women with skills, and to restore dignity to motherhood in Africa.

When you wear MOTHÁ, you are not just wearing fashion.
You are wearing a stand against poverty, injustice, and neglect.
You are wearing a promise that no woman should dié giving life.

The first collection is coming soon.
Stand with mothers. Stand with legacy. Wear MOTHÁ. 🌍❤️
